NASOPHARYNX

  • T1 Confined to the NPX
  • T2 Into the NC or the OPX
    • T2a not into the parapharyngeal space
    • T2b into the parapharyngeal space
  • T3 Into bone or paranasal sinus
  • T4 Intracranial, orbit, HPX, Infratemporal fossa, or involvement of the CN

HYPOPHARYNX

  • T1 < 2 CM and 1 subsite
  • T2 > 1 site or 2-4 cm
  • T3 > 4 cm or VC fixation
  • T4 cartilage, bone, soft-tissue invasion

OROPHARYNX AND CAVITY

  • T1 < 2 CM
  • T2 2-4 CM
  • T3 > 4 CM
  • T4 bone, cartilage, artery, soft tissue

LARYNX

  • Summary of Staging for Supraglottis, glottis, subglottis
  • T1 one site
  • T2 > 1 site or impared VC
  • T3
    • VC fixation
    • paraglottic space, minor cartilage (for glottic/ supraglootic tumors)
    • pre-epiglottic (supraglottis)
  • T4
    • soft tissue/ artery
    • bone/ cartilage
    • mediastinal structions

LYMPHNODE FOR NASOPHARYNX

  • N1 unilateral node(s) and < 6cm
  • N2 bilateral node(s) and < 6cm
  • N3
    • N3a node(s) > 6cm
    • N3b node(s) extending into supraclavicular fossa

LYMPHNODE FOR H&N EXCEPT NASOPHARYNX

  • N1 unilateral node(s), < 3cm
  • N2
    • single 3-6 cm
    • multiple node(s), ipsilateral or bilateral.
  • N3 node(s) > 6cm
