EPIDERMIS

  • The epidermis is 0.04mm thick.
  • The dermis contains the vessels, adenxa, hair follicles, sweat and sebaceous glands.
  • Under the dermis is the subcutaneous tissue.
  • There are lymph vessels in the dermis and subcutaneous tissue.

EYE LIDS

inner canthus - where inner lids meet
lacrimal apparatus (tear ducts)

NOSE

LIP

H

Area H = "mask areas" of face (central face, eyelids, eyebrows, periorbital, nose, lips, chin, mandible, preauricular and posterior skin/sulci, temple, ear), genitalia, hands and feet
Area M = cheeks, forehead, scalp, and neck
Area L = trunk and extremities.
